There is an African proverb “ It takes a village to raise a child.” I suggest it takes a village to fight and survive breast cancer. Be a part of the fight any way you can!

I’m Cynthia

Welcome to Melanin & Pink Ribbons: A Blog for Black Women Fighting and Surviving Breast Cancer. It was born out of my personal journey as a patient not seeing very many images of women who looked like me fighting this disease. So, when I became a survivor, I did something about it.
