This Know Your Normal is a new feature of my blog. Its purpose is to encourage women, and men to know what YOUR normal breasts look like. The only way you can accomplish this is to look at your breasts, touch them , make note of changes and then follow up with medical professionals if you notice a difference. Welcome to Melanin & Pink Ribbons: A Blog for Black Women Fighting and Surviving Breast Cancer. It was born out of my personal journey as a patient not seeing very many images of women who looked like me fighting this disease. So, when I became a survivor, I did something about it.
