Each first Wednesday of the month I remind readers to schedule their mammogram. If you have had yours or its scheduled then remind a love one to schedule theirs. One by one we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Remember early detection saves lives! #melaninpinkribbons

Welcome to Melanin & Pink Ribbons: A Blog for Black Women Fighting and Surviving Breast Cancer. It was born out of my personal journey as a patient not seeing very many images of women who looked like me fighting this disease. So, when I became a survivor, I did something about it.
