Celebrating 9 incredible years as a breast cancer survivor! I’m truly grateful to have transformed my struggles into a powerful advocacy, inspiring others and making a profound difference. None of this would’ve been possible without the unwavering support of Daryl Smalls & Carolyn Smalls, affectionately known as Team Smalls who stood by me and helped me heal as an active patient. Here’s to many more years of living my purpose with passion, intention and joy!

Welcome to Melanin & Pink Ribbons: A Blog for Black Women Fighting and Surviving Breast Cancer. It was born out of my personal journey as a patient not seeing very many images of women who looked like me fighting this disease. So, when I became a survivor, I did something about it. This is a space to learn and become empowered with information so we as a community can thrive into survivorship.
